ElectricityHelp (electricityhelp.se) is operated by Evide Group AB, a company registered in Sweden. This page explains what information we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
What We Collect
Information you give us. If you contact us through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and whatever you write in your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use cookies and similar tools to understand how the site is used. This includes your approximate location (for showing prices relevant to your price zone), the pages you visit, and general technical information like browser type and device. Information from affiliate links. When you click a link to one of the electricity providers we compare, that click may be tracked by our affiliate partner (Adtraction) so the provider knows the visit came from ElectricityHelp. This tracking happens on the provider's site, not ours, and is covered by their own privacy policy.
Why We Collect It
- Respond to messages sent through our contact form
- Understand which parts of the site are useful, so we can improve them
- Show you relevant prices for your price zone
- Track which provider signups came through our site, so we can be paid the commission we've earned
Legal Basis
- Consent for non-essential cookies (analytics, affiliate tracking). You can accept or decline these when you first visit.
- Legitimate interest for essential site functionality.
- Consent when you voluntarily submit the contact form.
Who We Share Data With
We don't sell your personal data. We share limited data with:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers, who store the site's data securely
- Analytics providers, to understand site usage
- Adtraction, our affiliate network, for tracking which signups came through our links
How Long We Keep It
Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to respond to and resolve your inquiry, typically no more than 12 months. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider's standard retention period.
Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data

- Complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) if you think we've mishandled your data
